Employee Benefits Account Manager

Due to consistent annual growth and the addition of tools and services provided to our clients, we are adding to our team. We are seeking a self-motivated person who wants to join a dynamic company. We are currently seeking to fulfill a full-time position. Our Employee Benefits Account Manager will work with multiple consultants and advisors and be supported by a service specialist to help maintain and grow an existing client base. Responsibilities- Act as point-of-contact for clients with service for claims, benefits & billing.
- Market new business and renewal quotes out to the employee benefits carriers.
- Prepare client/prospect proposals.
- Proactively find new ways to build the client’s business and grow accounts.
- Maintain vast knowledge of the insurance carrier’s products and procedures.
- Build and maintain employee benefits administration systems.
- Provide administrative and technical support to the advisor and our clients.
- Update agency database with client and carrier information.
- Demonstrate commitment to teamwork and client retention.
Requirements- Active life and health license in Kentucky or Indiana.
- High school diploma required, additional education preferred.
- Computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Two or more years of experience in the employee benefits industry.
- Extremely organized and highly motivated.
- Ability to independently initiate new and creative concepts.
